Berkadia Adds Brandon Buell to Student Housing Team

Berkadia is adding senior managing director Brandon Buell to its Student Housing Group’s investment sales platform, based in Houston. He will be partnering with senior managing director Kevin Larimer and will report to Keith Misner, head of investment sales.

“With 10 years of experience, Brandon is a student housing expert and we’re thrilled to add such a seasoned investment adviser to our Student Housing Group,” said Misner. “His experience and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to expand our work within the student housing sector, particularly during these unprecedented times.”

Buell joins Berkadia from NKF’s student housing group, where he served as a managing director. He was responsible for assisting clients in the disposition of institutional and non-institutional assets and, during his five years’ tenure at NKF, was involved in more than $3.5 billion of purpose-built multifamily transactions.
