Bentex Group Expands Midtown South Presence
Bentex Group, a family of affiliated companies, has signed a 48,881-square-foot lease at 34 W. 33rd St., taking the entire second and 11th floors and part of the 12th floor. The new lease expands Bentex Group’s presence in the Midtown South building to 60,964 square feet.
“Within the past year, we’ve seen a tremendous amount of leasing activity from the apparel and textile industries especially within the children’s wear apparel sector,” said David Levy, principal of Adams & Co. “Bentex’s expansion in the building marks a continuing demand for office and showroom space that fulfill this industry’s growing needs.”
Levy and Brett Maslin of Adams & Co. represented the landlord, Arcade Building Associates and Michael Beyda of Benchmark Properties represented the tenant.
Located between Fifth and Sixth avenues, the property is convenient to 12 subway lines as well as PATH and Penn Station.
