Bellevue Office Project Near Amazon Pivots to Residential Proposal

A previously planned downtown Bellevue office building will now become a 27-story residential tower.

Seattle-based Capstone Partners and PGIM, along with Runberg Architecture Group, have changed course on the project at 305 108th Ave NE, next door to Amazon Bingo Plaza. The development team recently submitted a design review proposal for a 27-story residential mixed-use tower, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal.

Capstone Partners and PGIM paid $32.5 million for the site in 2021. The original plans called for a 12-story office tower with approximately 194,700 square feet of office space and 354 below-grade parking spaces.

The proposed residential tower will feature approximately 355 apartment units and include retail space across two levels. The first level will have nearly 3,700 square feet of retail, while on the second level another nearly 4,300 square feet of retail space is planned.
