Bellaire Town Center Redevelopment Underway

SDI Realty Advisors of Houston launched redevelopment on Bellaire Town Center, a mid-20^th-century shopping center in the 5100 block of Bellaire Boulevard in Bellaire, TX. The developer’s goal is to build more modern retail, in line with Bellaire’s overall redevelopment. “The city of Bellaire has become pro-growth, pro-development,” SDI Realty Advisors’ Charles Sears recently told the Houston Chronicle.

The project’s first phase will involve revamping the 39,000-square-foot, one-story retail center into a 72,000-square-foot, two-story, mixed-use center. The redevelopment is taking place in two phases, with the first phase focused on developing a 17,000-square-foot building. The second phase will offer two buildings at 31,000 square feet and 21,600 square feet. Phase I is scheduled for completion in January 2018, while phase II should be complete by fall 2018.
