Belgium Company Likes Portland, OR for Growth

Showpad, a Belgium-based sales and marketing software maker, has announced growth plans for a new office in Portland, OR.  The new office will provide sales and marketing support for its existing U.S. operations in San Francisco.

Showpad employs 11 people in Portland, who operate from a co-working space. Co-founder and CEO Louis Jonckheere anticipates signing an office lease with large enough space for 50 people. “As we scale the company, looking at U.S. operations in San Francisco, it’s a tough place to scale,” he said.

The company provides a content management and distribution platform for sales and marketing professionals. Showpad was launched more than four years ago, and opened its San Francisco office three years ago.
