Bed Bath & Beyond Takes Space at 201 Central Park Mall

Bed Bath & Beyond signed a lease for 37,760 square feet at 201 Central Park Mall, on the north side of San Antonio.  The bedroom and bathroom home goods store will be taking space that formerly held a Sears store, which closed in July 2018.

Additional new tenants for the 198,885-square-foot retail center include Buy Buy Baby (21,228 square feet) and fitness chain Tru Fit (61,762 square feet). Gene Williams with CBRE represented the landlord, Seritage Growth Properties of New York, in the lease transactions.

Seritage is in the process of renovating the property, which delivered in 1970, and is situated on 16.5 acres. According to a recent release, the property is 71.3% occupied.
