Becovic Adds to Rogers Park Multifamily Portfolio

Becovic Residential, a Chicago-based multifamily owner and operator, has acquired a 27-unit apartment building at 1546 W. Jonquil Terrace in the Rogers Park neighborhood. Becovic purchased the four-story walkup for $2 million.

The deal was brokered by CBRE’s Justin Ross and Danny Byrne. Financed by Devon Bank, the property will be managed by Becovic Management Group.

Built in 1930, The Jonquil Place offers a mix of nine studios, 17 one-bedrooms, and one two-bedroom unit. Becovic plans extensive improvements and investments to both the interior and exterior of the property. “We are excited to have the opportunity to preserve and enhance another vintage property in the North of Howard area,” said Becovic President Sal Becovic.

Nestled in the North of Howard area of Rogers Park, The Jonquil Place is located near historic Howard Street as well as Sheridan Road with access to Evanston, Chicago and its northern suburbs.
