BEB Leases Port Washington Industrial to Pharma Packaging Firm

BEB Capital leased the entire 57,000-square-foot industrial building at 55 Harbor Park Dr. in Port Washington, NY to The Mekkatti Group, which designs and prints pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging. Under terms of a 10-year-lease, Mekkatti Group is relocating from a smaller facility in nearby Mineola, NY.

NKF’s Daniel Oliver and Daniel Marcus represented BEB Capital in the transaction. David Rotter of Metro Realty Services represented the tenant.

BEB acquired 55 Harbor Park Dr. last year, and performed a multimillion-dollar upgrade that included improvements to the 37-year-old property’s power and technology infrastructure.

“Our objective was to prepare this very-well-situated building to accommodate virtually any high-end use in today’s marketplace,” said CEO Lee Brodsky. “Its 26-foot-high ceilings, five loading docks and proximity to transportation make it ideal for both manufacturing and distribution.”

BEB owns three other properties in the same industrial corridor, including 26 Harbor Park Dr., where the company is headquartered.
