Beacon Capital to Build 10-Story Seaport Lab Building
Beacon Capital Partners is proposing to construct a second lab building on Harbor Street in Boston’s Seaport District. The planned 10-story, 321,000-square-foot property in the Raymond L, reported on Boston Business Journal.
Flynn Marine Park would complement an adjacent lab building nearing completion. While tenants for the new building have not been announced, Beacon Capital refers to the project as 4 Harbor St., forming part of the South Boston Innovation Campus. Previously envisioned as a larger life sciences campus by Millennium Partners, the plans were scaled back, leading to the current development phase.
Beacon Capital’s involvement extends to other notable properties in Boston, including 27 Drydock Ave. in the Seaport and the Southline Boston complex in Dorchester.
