Beacon Capital Picks up Seattle Office-Lab Facility for Nearly $51M
An entity affiliated with Boston-based Beacon Capital Partners acquired a four-story Seattle office and lab building from San Francisco-based Elliott Bay Ventures for $50.7 million. The 1980-built building at 3005 First Ave. in Belltown totals roughly 70,000 square feet of space.
The buyer was BCal 3005 Property LLC, an entity associated with Beacon Capital Partners and CalSTRS, the pension fund for California teachers.
The former Econet building has reportedly undergone significant upgrades including the addition of office space in the four-story atrium. Tenants at the building include Plant Health Care Inc., Universal Cells and Universa.
