Medical technology firm, Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), has signed a long term lease at Park Point, a research and development facility on North McCarthy Boulevard in Milpitas, CA. With the 240,000 square feet leased, BD Biosciences will occupy one entire building and nearly half of another.

JLL represented BD in the agreement, while Newmark handled the transaction for the property owner, Embarcadero Capital Partners and PCCP, LLC. Park Point offers large, efficient floorplates that are ideal for enabling innovation-based life science companies.

Other amenities offered by the three-building campus include a fitness center, pickleball court, outdoor kitchen and barbecue, volleyball court and redwood grove. Park Point has easy access to Interstate 880 and Highway 237, and is also situated near light rail and the new Milpitas BART Station. In addition, it’s within walking distance of several restaurants, retail outlets and hotels.
