Provident building $77M 1.3 million sf industrial park in Baytown

Baytown Site for New 1.3M SF Industrial Project

Baytown is just a few miles down river from the Port of Houston, the busiest shipping container port in the world. As a result, Baytown is a prime candidate to expand its industrial market.

Provident Realty Advisors is moving ahead on a 1.3 million square foot industrial project in Baytown, near the port. Public filings provide details which put the cost of construction at $77 million. The project will tout two tilt-wall buildings at a development being called Port 99 Logistics. The project is slated for completion in October. Ware Malcomb is the designer. Provident will build the project.

The Port of Houston, just six miles away from Baytown, ensures that shippers worldwide have access to a wide range of carrier and service offerings, cargo terminals, drayage resources, land for development, and a regional portfolio of warehouses and distribution centers.
