
Baylor, Scott & White Spend $90M on Brazos Valley Addition
As part of its latest growth moves, Baylor Scott & White opened a new primary care clinic to serve the health care needs of the Brazos Valley. The hospital group also built a new medical building as part of its $90 million expansion. Called The Plaza, the new addition will include more operating rooms, sleep medicine, expanded occupational speech therapy services, and more spaces for doctors to see and treat patients. Emergency services will also be expanded, adding more emergency rooms and trauma bays.
The College Station hospital will replace its CT scanners and MRI machines for higher quality ones that will allow for faster results and better quality imaging. They will also add a nuclear medicine SPECT/CT scanner.
