Bay Area Life Science Operation Relocates HQ to 29K SF at Irvine Spectrum
Life science company Oncocyte is relocating its headquarters south from the Bay Area to Irvine, CA. Oncocyte will occupy 28,800 square feet at 15 Cushing in a move, according to its announcement, required to accommodate the company’s growth.
Oncocyte’s new HQ will feature cancer genomics and molecular pathology labs, alongside corporate administrative space.
According to Oncocyte CEO Ronnie Andrews, “We conducted a comprehensive search across the U.S. for a new location…Ultimately, we settled on Orange County because of its access to talent, affordability, opportunity for future growth and incredible community treatment centers.”
Orange County is a leading hub for the life sciences industry, which employs more than 164,000 people in the region and is responsible for over $35.3 billion in annual economic activity.
Oncocyte was represented in the lease by Jason Lantgen of JLL, with a CBRE team of Chip Wright, Gregg Haly and John Weiner advising ownership.
