Battery Storage Firm Establishes U.S Base with Orange County Lease

EVO Power USA, Inc., a leader in battery energy storage based in Australia, has signed a 15,070-square-foot industrial lease at 30452 Esperanza in Rancho Santa Margarita, California.  This will be EVO Power’s first location in the United States.  The company will use the space for design engineering, assembly, testing and distribution of battery energy storage systems.

JLL’s Kris Smith, Sofi Choi and Steven Chon represented EVO Power in the lease.  The landlord, Fauna 43, LLC, was represented by Mark Jerue, Craig Fitterer, BJ Fell and GianCarlo Spinosi of Lee & Associates.

“After searching locations in several other Western states for our first U.S. location, we chose the Orange County, California area because of the area’s growth in renewable energy as well as the access to premier labor in this speciality,” said Jamie Allen, group CEO of EVO Power.

Connect Orange County will take place Sept. 27, 2023 at VEA | Newport Beach Marriott in Newport Beach, concurrently with Connect Healthcare Real Estate on Sept. 27 and 28. Click here to register for Connect Orange County, and here to register for Connect Healthcare Real Estate.
