Eternity Technology battery maker to build Phoenix plant

Battery Maker Spending $20M on Deer Valley HQ

Eternity Technologies plans to invest $20 million in a new facility in Deer Valley. The plant will produce batteries for industrial traction applications, such as running forklifts, power jacks and similar equipment. It will also produce reserve power products for renewable energy storage, battery backup systems, hybrid systems, solar streetlights and emergency lighting.

The company, based in the United Arab Emirates, also has factories in Sherman, Texas, and in Chile, Spain and Germany.

The move will create 50 new jobs, and the 50,000-square-foot site at the Deer Valley Business Campus at 1400 West Rose Garden Lane is expected to be operational later this year.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports that Eternity is leasing the property and was represented in the deal by Chase Heinemann, Bob Lundstedt and Skip Corley of Daum Commercial. The property owner, Sunbelt Investment Holdings, was represented by CBRE’s Mark Krison, Luke Krison, and Armand Doost.

The new headquarters is not far from the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. chip factory.
