Bass Pro Shops Hits San Jose

Bass Pro Shops now has a third store in Northern California and a total of four overall in the state with the addition of a new location in San Jose.

Shoppers, who are fans of the outdoors store, and often travel to them from long distances, reportedly had tailgate parties in the parking lot, in anticipation of the Bass Pro opening. About 10,000 shoppers overall were predicted for the grand opening.

Bass Pro, which is based in Springfield, Mo., opened its newest store with a restaurant, bar, bowling alley and the several types of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear it sells.
