Batbox to debut in Addison

Baseball Version of Topgolf to Open in Dallas

The latest version of immersive sports entertainment concepts is opening up in Dallas. Batbox is a social and tech-infused baseball “eatertainment” concept that combines hospitality, sports, and an immersive baseball experience.

The company’s first U.S. venue is set to debut in Addison, in the Village on the Parkway, in early 2025. It will feature 10 baseball simulators and a 13,000-square-foot sports bar, catering to a broad audience.

Batbox plans to establish over 25 locations in the U.S. by 2030. Each location is expected to cost between $3 and $5 million. Batbox first opened in Mexico in 2019.

Batbox will utilize Strikezon, a proprietary baseball simulator technology, to provide a realistic and engaging experience designed for people of all ages. Groups of up to 18 players can reserve a bay at Batbox and compete in a three-, six- or nine-inning game. Players can also compete in a home run derby and pitching contests.
