Barings Real Estate Closes on DuPage Spec Industrial

Barings Real Estate has completed a contract purchase of a spec industrial property at 1365-1395 Brewster Creek Blvd. in Brewster Creek Business Park, Bartlett, IL. It’s Barings’ second acquisition within the park, following the lease-up of its first property there. Terms were not disclosed

“With its excellent location in the highly-demanded north DuPage submarket of Chicago and state-of-the-art construction, we anticipate this property will benefit from the strong leasing environment in the near term,” said Michael Zammitti, head of U.S. real estate equity for Barings.

NKF’s Adam Marshall, Elise Couston and Mark Deady arranged the sale, with Marshall representing the seller and developer, Ridge Development, a division of Transwestern. NKF was hired to lease and manage the now-vacant property shortly after the groundbreaking last August. Construction on the project was recently completed.
