Baptist Health Spends $39M on Coral Gables Office Building

City National Bank of Florida sold a 124,168 square foot office building in Coral Gables for $39 million. Baptist Health South Florida was the buyer. The South Florida Business Journal reports that Baptist South, a nonprofit hospital operator, has not yet announced its plans for the building. Many of Baptist Health’s executives work out of its office at 6855 Red Road in Coral Gables, a building that it also owns. Baptist Health also owns Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables.

The building has 47,732 square feet of leasable office space, plus a 122-space parking garage.

City National Bank no longer needed the office space after it relocated its headquarters to a large space at 2701 S. Le Jeune Road in 2025.
