Banyan Street to Redevelop 290K-SF Doral Office Complex

Banyan Street Capital has announced plans to completely renovate the former Centrum Doral office park in Doral. The firm will bring the newly refurbished and renamed Doral Center to the market in partnership with Independencia Asset Management LLC.

Located at 8750 NW 36th St. and 3750 NW 87th Ave., Banyan acquired the two-building, 290,000-square-foot office complex in August. New features at Doral Center will include refurbished and upgraded interior common area corridors and restrooms. Doral Center’s grounds and exterior improvements include new landscaping, directional and monument signage throughout the property and exterior painting and cladding for both seven-story buildings. Current tenants at the property include Citibank, AARP, Western Digital, Lochner and Acer.

Gordon Messinger, Stuart Gordon and Matthew Bittel of Cushman & Wakefield’s Agency Leasing team have been tapped for the leasing assignment of the newly redeveloped property.
