BTR project Banyan Everton starts construction in Pflugerville

Banyan BTR Project Headed To Austin Suburb

If you live in Texas, a build-to-rent community is likely headed your way. The homebuying alternative is sweeping the Sunbelt, providing homebuyers the benefits of owning a home, without the mortgage.

Banyan is building a 34-acre, 234-unit project in Austin suburb, Pflugerville. To be called Banyan Everton, it will consist of three and four bedroom houses averaging 1,771 square feet. Each home will have a private driveway, two-car attached garage and a fenced-in yard. Community amenities include a pool, fitness center and green space.

Banyan Everton is expected to open in the first quarter of 2024. Austin is in the top five cities in the country for BTR rent growth. Also, investor interest in the BTR sector has skyrocketed, reaching $50 billion in 2022.
