Bang Bang, Celebrity Tattoo Artist, to Open Soho Storefront

Several months ago, a real estate broker spotted a post on the social media site Snapchat from a tattoo artist, JonBoy, looking for a location for a new tattoo parlor in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood.

“I was pleasantly surprised to learn from JonBoy that he was looking for space for Bang Bang, the greatest tattoo artist in the world,” said Greg Goldberg, associate director for Eastern Consolidated’s retail leasing team, which represented Bang Bang in the transaction.

Keith “Bang, Bang” McCurdy has tattooed celebrities including Rihanna, Lebron James, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber. He currently operates with a team of artists at 328 Broome St. on the Lower East Side. He will open a second location at 62 Grand St., with 12-foot high ceilings, 2,200 square feet of space on the ground floor and 2,200 square feet on the lower level.
