Baltimore Waterfront Project Breaks Ground
A joint-venture between Greenbelt, MD-based The Bozzuto Group and Baltimore-based War Horse broke ground on Alta 47, a 47-townhouse development in Baltimore’s Locust Point. The $23-million, for-sale project is located at 1520 Beason St., in a historic waterfront neighborhood surrounded by industrial development near Interstate 95.
That’s an area where War Horse is focusing on expanding its footprint, and has two other projects there, Anthem House and Anthem House II. War Horse’s Scott Plank says offering an alternative to renting is important for Baltimore’s stability.
Alta 47 reflects the authentic character of Locust Point, and blends in a modern brick and concrete exterior design with an array of smart-home technology inside, ranging from controlled lighting to security systems. Floorplans include three-bedroom configurations with a garage and a fourth-floor terrace that offers views of the harbor and city.
Residences are expected to deliver in August.
