Balfour Beatty Stays Put in Citymark at Katy Trail
Balfour Beatty Construction signed a 46,694-square-foot renewal and long-term extension of its headquarters lease in Citymark at Katy Trail in Dallas’ Uptown submarket. The lease for the 200-employee office was renewed four years before expiration, with the term extended by at least 10 years. Also included were tenant improvements to allow extensive renovation of the firm’s offices.
Richmond Collinsworth with Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services, represented the landlord, Bradford Property Co. Inc., operating under the name 3100 McKinnon LP. Phil Puckett, Neal Puckett and Harlan Davis of CBRE were the tenant representatives for Balfour Beatty, which streamlined its space from five floors to two.
The 226,344-square-foot Citymark at Katy Trail delivered in 1987 and is situated on 3.7 acres. The Dallas owners acquired the property at 3100 McKinnon St. from Hines in 2015, and completed a $7.5 million renovation in 2017.
