BakerHostetler Adds Ormend Yeilding to Orlando Real Estate, Hospitality Teams
BakerHostetler has added Ormend Yeilding to its Orlando office as a partner in the firm’s business practice group and real estate team. Yeilding will also be a member of the company’s hospitality industry team.
Yeilding advises developers, institutional investors and private equity groups on the acquisition, financing and restructuring, and disposition of resorts, hotels and other leisure assets.
Yeilding joins from a National Law Journal 500-ranked firm where he helped lead its hospitality practice. He also was general counsel for a hotel investment firm that specializes in providing asset management, financing and construction consulting services for its investment partners.
In private practice, Yeilding represents developers, institutional investors and private equity firms on complex transactions involving the acquisition, disposition, financing and restructuring of leisure and hospitality assets across the US. He primarily focuses on hotel and resort transactions and regularly negotiates brand management and franchise agreements.
