Baker Botts Stays Put, Renews 104K SF
International law firm Baker Botts LLP re-upped its space at Trammell Crow Center, 2001 Ross Ave. in downtown Dallas. The tenant renewed a 104,179-square-foot lease, and is in the early stages of plans to rebuild its entire space.
Stream Realty Partners’ Ramsey March, Sara Terry, and Scott Sowanick represented Trammell Crow Center, while Phil Puckett and Harlan Davis of CBRE represented Baker Botts in the lease negotiations. Institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management own the CBD tower.
“Baker Botts is a prized office tenant by any measure, but this transaction is particularly meaningful given that they are an original tenant of Trammell Crow Center,” Marsh said.
Stream Realty and J.P Morgan Asset Management recently unveiled a renovation and expansion plan for Trammell Crow Center and the 2.6-acre site directly south of the 50-story tower. Capital improvements will include expanded retail space, upgraded lobby, and enhancements to the building’s lower exterior and plaza.
