Bacari Restaurants to Open Ninth LA-Area Location in Long Beach

Los Angeles-based Bacari Restaurants has acquired the former Michaels restaurant, a two-story restaurant building located at 5620 2nd St. in the Belmont Shores area of Long Beach, for an undisclosed amount. Bacari will renovate the building and open its latest location, the Mediterranean-themed Bacari Long Beach.   

Bacari Restaurants currently owns and operates eight restaurants in the Los Angeles area, including three in the city of Los Angeles along with Silverlake, Culver City, Beverly Hills, Glendale and Sherman Oaks, with more being rolled out.  Bacari Long Beach is scheduled to open in 2026.

“Bacari is focused on creating a place for the community can come together to enjoy good food while being entertained and enjoying the company of others,” said Robert Kronfli, co-founder, Bacari Restaurants. “Bacari Long Beach will be unique with its décor and ambience while offering the same great food of our other locations.”

Blake Kaplan of JLL represented the seller and Leslie J. Mayer of Cushman & Wakefield handled the transaction on behalf of Bacari Restaurants.
