B6’s Paul Massey on the Opportunities in Sales and Debt (Video)

On the heights that commercial real estate investment sales reached with regard to both transaction volume and pricing in 2015, “people lost their data points,” said B6 Real Estate Advisors founder Paul Massey. The result has been a comparatively slow market since then; however, Massey expects volume to pick up in both property sales and debt markets over the next 12 to 18 months.

In the video interview above, Massey provides insights into the business model of the newly-launched B6 and the broader CRE market. He discusses:

• The ways in which commercial real estate has changed since the 1980s, and how it has remained the same
• Where the opportunities are for B6 in the current market
• The advantages of a technology-forward brokerage platform
• How B6 is recruiting brokers with granular market knowledge
