AY Engages on Four-Building Healthcare Portfolio

With pandemic-related healthcare at the forefront, along with an aging population, medical office buildings continue to fill an immediate need. A Carrollton portfolio fits that description to a T.

Avison Young has been awarded this four-building medical office property management portfolio totaling 167,397 square feet. Led by senior property manager Laura Fishback, the portfolio will be managed by a four-person team on behalf of the landlord, Metrocrest Hospital Authority.

“Medical office properties continue to be a growing real estate sector throughout this market as the need for healthcare services expands in conjunction with the population,” said Fishback.

The team’s value enhancement strategy includes tenant amenities such as Valet Dry Cleaning by Organic Life, Auto Repair Service by CARS, auto fuel delivery and a full-service car wash. The four properties are Professional Plaza I-III located at 4323-4333-4325 N. Josey Lane, with 48,983, 48,612 and 47,263 square feet respectively. In addition, Pediatric Place is located at 4444 N. Josey Lane with 22,521 square feet.

With this latest assignment, the team now manages a portfolio of more than 685,000 square feet in six office buildings and one industrial facility in the Dallas/Fort Worth region.
