AXE Gravitates to Santa Ana Where Demand Continues to Outweigh Supply
AXE Properties LLC, a manufacturer of custom metalworks, recently paid $8.7 million for a 35,067-square-foot industrial building located at 1525 E. Edinger Ave. in Santa Ana. AXE will occupy 70 percent of the building. It intends to complete extensive interior and exterior improvements before leasing the remainder of the property.
JLL’s Byron Foss, Wade Tift and Nick Carey represented the seller, D5W LLC, as well as the buyer.
“We continue to see limited industrial product available for sale and lease in the highly sought-after Airport Area submarket and throughout Orange County, while demand continues to outweigh supply,” said Foss. “AXE Properties LLC was attracted to the property’s location, loading, power, solar panels, street frontage and proximity to its other building.”
1525 E. Edinger Ave. is near the 55, 405 and 5 freeways. The property features a secured fenced yard area, five dock high- and two ground-level loading doors with 68 parking spaces.
