AWC, Nobu Hospitality to Develop Plaza Athenee Hotels in NY, Bangkok

Asset World Corp (AWC), Thailand’s integrated lifestyle real estate group, has expanded its partnership with Nobu Hospitality to develop luxury Plaza Athenee hotels in New York and Bangkok.

AWC will leverage its real estate development and hospitality expertise to transform Hotel Plaza Athenee New York, located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, and the EAC building by the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok into Plaza Athenee Nobu Hotel and Spa properties.

Located at 37 E 64th St in a nearly century-old building, The Plaza Athenee Nobu & Spa New York will mark Nobu’s first hotel in New York. It will provide 145 rooms and scheduled to open in 2026.
