Tebo spins off the Golden Hotel for $23.5M

Award-Winning Golden Hotel Acquired for $23.5M

Tebo Properties off-loaded The Golden Hotel, in downtown Golden, for $23.5 million. The Bailey Co, a local real estate company, was the buyer. A $13.5 million loan from Kirkpatrick Bank helped finance the transaction.

The Denver Business Journal reports The Golden Hotel recently won honors as a 2024 Choice Hotels International Gold Award Winner. It includes full-service amenities, like the Bridgewater Grill, its in-house restaurant and a 6,600 square foot ballroom space.

The hotel, at 800 11th St., is located blocks from the former Golden High School building, which was recently purchased for an undisclosed price by AC Development Co, the Coors family company working on the project known as Clayworks. The mixed-use district will feature office spaces that include the new global headquarters of CoorsTek. It will also include a boutique hotel, apartments and dining options.
