Avra Estiatorio Will Open Third Manhattan Location at 1271 AofA

Avra Estiatorio has signed a long-term lease for more than 16,500 square feet at Rockefeller Group’s1271 Ave. of the Americas. One of Manhattan’s largest retail leases year to date, the deal will add a third Midtown venue for the Greek restaurant, which also operates a successful location in Beverly Hills.

“Signing this lease with Avra is a spectacular way to conclude the repositioning of 1271 Ave. of the Americas,” said Ed Guiltinan, SVP and head of Leasing for Rockefeller Group. “Avra was being pursued by many of our competitors for other locations in Manhattan, and we are thrilled that Avra recognized the benefits of 1271 Ave. of the Americas and elected to lease space in the building.

CBRE’s Eric Gelber and Jordan Kaplan represented ownership, in coordination with Guiltinan and Rockefeller Group’s Jennifer Stein. Avra was represented by CBRE’s Gary Trock and Zach Parisi.
