Avison’s Chicago Office Adds Operations Manager

Samantha Fonda has joined Avison Young as the operations manager for the Chicago region. She’ll be responsible for defining operational policies; identifying, hiring and managing administrative personnel; and developing and implementing employee training programs.  

Fonda will also be responsible for liaising with departmental heads to develop financial plans and ensure compliance as well as managing internal communications.
 
“Samantha brings a well-regarded track record of operational excellence and she has a firm understanding of all aspects of the industry,” said Beth Phillips, Avison Young principal and managing director of the firm’s Chicago office. “We’re really leaning on her expertise to streamline our day-to-day procedures and help develop our administrative staff as we continue to grow our offering of services in the Chicago market.”
 
Fonda was most recently with JLL in Seattle and Chicago, where she worked closely with brokers developing sales strategy and executing new business pursuits.
