Avison Young’s Polakoff Promoted to Executive Director

Brandon Polakoff has been promoted to principal and executive director of Tri-State Investment Sales at Avison Young. He has served as senior director in the Tri-State Investment Sales group for the past three years.

Polakoff, who joined Avison Young in 2018, specializes in the sale of multifamily and mixed-use assets and has consistently been one of the New York office’s top producers. His recent notable deals include a three-property assemblage at 190, 196 and 198 Prince St. for $31.5 million; 344-348 E. 62nd St. for $35.5 million and 109 Avenue A for $20.75 million.

Polakoff spearheads the Manhattan investment sales team and works alongside James Nelson, principal and head of Tri-State Investment Sales. “Brandon has had a meteoric rise ever since he was the first hire for the Tri-State Investment Sales group back in 2018,” said Nelson. “His unique approach to deal-making has been crucial to the group’s success.”
