Avison Young Team Markets Boutique Midtown South Offices

Avison Young’s tri-state investment sales team has been tapped to sell 109 W. 27th St., an 11-story, 50,137-square-foot office building with ground floor retail in Midtown South. The team of James Nelson, Neil Helman, Charles Kingsley and David Lawrence is marketing the property on behalf of the seller, Icon Realty Management.

“This is a prime Midtown South office property that is being repositioned to take advantage of the area’s thriving office market,” Nelson said. “As such, ownership has taken steps to make property-wide improvements” and has also “strategically vacated over 31,600 square feet of space to capitalize on the positive changes in the market.”

Helman added, “Over the past several years, Midtown South has become well-known for accommodating early-stage companies requiring boutique office space. This property is in a unique position to capture many of those rapidly-growing companies.”
