Avison Young Secures 317K-SF Industrial Lease in Charlotte
Avison Young has secured a 316,900-square-foot industrial lease with Midwest Air Technologies at the Charlotte Intermodal Logistics Center in Charlotte. The center is located at 10137 Horton Road.
Henry Lobb and Chris Skibinski of Avison Young brokered the lease transaction on behalf of The Silverman Group. Midwest Air Technologies was represented by Cushman & Wakefield. The deal follows the completion of a 105,000-square-foot lease with Seko Logistics in May, bringing the building to full occupancy prior to its August 2020 completion date. Midwest Air Technologies will move into the space in October.
“Strategic, well positioned locations like the Charlotte Intermodal Logistics Center are in high demand for large distribution and e-commerce users,” said Lobb. “The Logistics Center is convenient to the intermodal facility at the airport, which gives businesses a more efficient method of shipping goods to numerous destinations by air, sea, rail and truck.”
