Avison Young Opens Silicon Valley Office in Palo Alto

Avison Young has opened its new Silicon Valley office located at 229 Forest Ave. in Palo Alto. The new office, which consolidates the former San Mateo and San Jose offices, occupies the three-story building’s second floor in its entirety with potential future expansion. The new space utilizes a hybrid office design to support employee optionality.

“Our new Palo Alto office is in Silicon Valley’s epicenter, and we are pleased to bring together 22 professionals from two previous area offices,” said Chris Cooper, Avison Young principal & regional managing director, Western U.S.  “We believe this move will generate stronger collaboration between our teams as we expand our presence throughout the region.”

Built in 1928, the historic building is owned by Pacific Art League, which occupies the ground floor. Over the next several quarters, Avison Young plans to hire more talent for its Palo Alto location.
