Design and production agency Thinkwell (A TAIT Company) has signed a 5.5-year, 14,000-square-foot lease at Empire Studios, a recently renovated building located on Empire Avenue in Burbank, CA. Avison Young’s Andrew Berk and Chase Gordon negotiated the deal on behalf of the tenant, who will occupy a majority of the 17,000-square-foot property. The landlord, Avalon Investment Company, was represented by Shadd Walker and Kevin Carrasco with Colliers.

Thinkwell’s new space features high ceilings and a brand new build-out with an indoor/outdoor creative and open work environment. “Finding the perfect balance of a creative experiential workspace that would blend a traditional build-out with a unique environment to attract and retain employees, drove us to identify Empire Studios,” said Berk in a news release. 

Thinkwell has created immersive experiences at Warner Brothers World and the Richard Nixon Presidential Library & Museum, and boasts big name clients like Disney and Netflix. The firm is relocating from the LA Media Tech Center with move-in expected in Q2 2023.
