Avison Young Names New Market Leader for New England

Avison Young has hired Leeanne Rizzo as principal and market leader for New England, which includes offices in Boston and Hartford. Rizzo will lead day-to-day operations and focus on strategic talent recruitment to enhance the firm’s capabilities and strengthen its presence across New England.

“New England is a key growth market for Avison Young, with strong fundamentals and increasing client demand across all service lines,” said Josh Peyton, principal & regional managing director, East Region. “Leeanne’s leadership and deep regional expertise position us to capitalize on that momentum and continue expanding our platform in a meaningful way.”

Rizzo brings more than two decades’ experience in the commercial real estate industry, where she has advised office tenants and landlords on leasing, sales and development of real estate throughout Greater Boston. She most recently served as EVP & principal at Hunneman and previously held roles at Newmark and Colliers.
