Avison Young Names Erin Morales to Direct Austin Office

Avison Young recently named Erin Morales as principal and managing director of the firm’s Austin office. Morales’ career spans more than two decades in brokerage services with a focus on corporate occupiers in the technology sector.

“Erin has been a force in Austin’s commercial real estate market for more than 22 years, with deep-rooted experience in strategic real estate planning,” said Juan Bueno, Avison Young principal and U.S. president. “Her dynamic leadership style and her expertise of the region’s tech industry and other fast-growing companies align perfectly with the Austin office and its growth trajectory.”

Prior to joining Avison Young, Morales served as senior vice president with CBRE.

In those positions, she worked in conjunction with chief executive officers and chief marketing officers to create corporate messaging, cohesive branding standards, strategic marketing plans and thought pieces. Brown is a frequent speaker at industry events and an editing adjunct professor for an online course. She has a master’s degree in mass communications from San Jose State University.
