Avison Young Lists Former U.S. Headquarters of Yamaha Motor Corp.

Avison Young has been retained to market for sale Katella 25, the former U.S. headquarters campus of Yamaha Motor Corporation, located at 6555 Katella Ave. in Cypress. The property is being marketed on a best-offer basis.

The Avison Young team representing the seller, Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., includes Patrick Barnes, Paul Clark, Nick Slonek and Jae Estep. “This offering provides investors and developers the ability to control a significant infill site in one of the most historically supply‑constrained industrial markets in the county,” said Barnes.

Totaling 278,964 square feet across three buildings, the campus has served as Yamaha’s U.S. headquarters since 1979. As part of a planned corporate relocation to Kennesaw, GA, Yamaha intends to lease back the entire property through Dec. 31, 2028. Avison Young said the structure will provide a buyer with stable, investment-grade, net-lease cash flow during the transitional period, while pursuing future redevelopment entitlements.
