Avison Young Lists Beverly Grove Redevelopment Opportunity

Avison Young has been retained to sell The Block on Beverly, a full city block in Los Angeles’ Beverly Grove neighborhood. Situated on a .65-acre parcel at 8230 to 8256 Beverly Blvd. and flanked by The Beverly Center and The Grove, the site is poised for a redevelopment opportunity. The asset is unpriced, with the seller seeking the best offer.

The Avison Young team tapped to represent the seller, a private family office that has owned the property for more than four decades, includes U.S. Capital Markets leader Peter Sherman, managing director Chris Bonbright and principal Eric Moore.

“A redevelopment opportunity in the heart of Los Angeles’ most dynamic retail and restaurant corridor is extremely rare,” said Bonbright. “The site’s zoning and transit-oriented development designation will provide the new ownership with the ability for a transformational project which could include a luxury mixed-use asset, a flagship retail destination, a senior living project, medical office or an architectural landmark.”
