Avison Young Life Sciences Bulks Up

Brokerage firm Avison Young has beefed up its life sciences program in San Diego.

The company hired Brian Cooper as a principal to assist its practice. Cooper formerly worked at JLL as a senior vice president in the brokerage firm’s life sciences department. He’s also a former a U.S. Navy lieutenant, who served as a navigator and commissioner.

Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the Southern California Region, Chris Cooper noted, “Brian’s unique background allows him to focus on clean rooms, manufacturing facilities, vivariums, and biology and chemistry laboratories… [his] arrival reinforces our exceptional success in [the San Diego market].”
