Avison Young Expands in Arizona

Avison Young launched a new project management practice group in Arizona, and named George Rubelsky to lead the effort. The licensed general contractor within Arizona brings more than 30 years of real estate development, project management and construction management experience, most recently with Sun State Builders in Phoenix.

Rubelsky, now a Senior Project Manager and based in the Avison Young’s Phoenix office, will lead and grow the team in Greater Phoenix and throughout Arizona.

Avison Young’s David Genovese says, “This new team will enable us to provide our occupier, landlord and property management clients with services related to all aspects of the complex development and construction-management process from start to finish – whether that be for new construction, renovation or tenant-improvement functions.”

Prior to joining Sun State, he served as senior project manager with CBRE Project Management. During his career, Rubelsky has managed projects valued in excess of $500 million.
