Avison Young Completes 75K SF of Leases at 901 K Street NW in DC
Avison Young announced more than 75,000 square feet of new leasing activity at 901 K Street NW, a recently repositioned trophy office property in Washington, D.C.’s East End.
Since acquiring the asset in 2025, Shorenstein has transformed the property through a series of strategic upgrades that have helped attract new tenant commitments, including Capstone, Monument Advocacy and Skoll Foundation.
Avison Young’s DC agency leasing team, Jonathan Wellborn, Eli Barnes and Will Stern, represented the landlord, Shorenstein. “The leasing momentum at 901 K Street is the result of the market’s continued flight to quality,” said Wellborn.
Over the last year, Shorenstein has focused on a comprehensive repositioning of 901 K Street NW. Recent investments include a renovated lobby, a new conference and event center, rooftop terrace enhancements and expanded tenant amenities. “Companies are investing in workplaces that help attract talent, strengthen culture and support collaboration,” added Barnes.
