Avison Young Arranges Luft Balloons Lease at Long-Vacant Industrial

Avison Young negotiated a long-term lease of a 7,000 square-foot flexible space on behalf of Luft Balloons located at 2300 W Fullerton Ave. on the city’s North Side. Luft Balloons was represented by Avison Young’s Konstantine Sepsis and will occupy the entire building.

“Due to the size and nature of Luft Balloons’ product, they needed more space for product construction along with an easy pickup location for customers,” said Sepsis. “This pocket along Fullerton is a hidden gem of industrial/retail just off the busy, revamped corridor of Fullerton/Damen/Milwaukee.”

Vacant for 20 years, the property was the former home of Berteau-Lowell Plating Works. Since 1946, Berteau-Lowell Plating Works used to plate metals including silver, copper, zinc and nickel at this location. The building was constructed in 1930 and has since been fully restored with polished concrete floors, a refurbished truss arch ceiling and a secured 20-car parking lot.
