Avison Young Arranges 4-Building Sale to Healthcare REIT

Avison Young has negotiated the sale of a four building, 74,442-square-foot medical office portfolio in Chicago’s suburbs to Community Healthcare Trust, a REIT based in Brentwood, TN. The sales price was not disclosed.

The seller was a partnership of physicians associated with Joliet Oncology Hematology Associates (JOHA). The JOHA Cancer Center portfolio includes 2614 W. Jefferson and 254 Republic Ave., Joliet, IL; 668 Cedar Crossing Dr., New Lenox, IL; and 1600 W. Route 6, Morris, IL. All buildings are 100% leased to nationally- recognized healthcare tenants.

Chicago-based Avison principals Erik Foster and Mike Wilson worked with principals Chip Ryan and Jim Kornick in Washington, DC to represent the JOHA partnership. “The properties are mission critical for the tenants’ core operations, providing tremendous stability from an investment standpoint,” said Wilson.
