Avison Young Arranges $14M Sale of Alexandria Retail Center

Avison Young has brokered the $14.2 million sale of a fully-leased retail center in Alexandria, VA. Jonathan Hipp, Richard Murphy, Chip Ryan and Matt Weber of Avison Young represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. Michael Patz of KLNB represented the private buyer.

Located at 6001 Kingstowne Village Parkway, the center is occupied by ALDI supermarket, a La-Z-Boy furniture store and a newly opened Ashley Furniture HomeStore. It is located adjacent to Kingstowne Towne Center, a vibrant live-work-play center nearby Washington, DC.

“This premier retail center in an unrivaled location represented a tremendous opportunity to purchase a generational-quality asset,” said Hipp. “Thanks to strong demographics, the 100%-leased, high-quality retail will continue to provide stable income for years to come.”
